| Height: 4-5′ | Width: 4-5′ |
| Sun: Full to Part Sun | Zone: 3 |
Very compact, upright shrub with lobed new foliage emerging burgundy, maturing to green, then turning deep red in fall. Large, flat, white lace-cap bloom clusters in spring are followed by red berries that persist into winter: doesn’t produce flowers and fruit yearly. Fruit attracts birds. Hardy shrub that is a great specimen plant, low hedge or used in mass plantings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is very adaptable. Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges; can be cut back heavily to rejuvenate an older plant.
Available in select potted sizes.
