| Height: 2′ | Width: 2-2.5′ |
| Sun: Full to Part Sun | Zone: 3 |
Dwarf, very dense, rounded shrub with lobed green foliage that matures to purple in fall. Rarely flowers or has fruit; the occasional flowers it does get are white, flat, lace-cap blooms in spring. Great low-maintenance, hardy shrub that is excellent for mass plantings or groupings or used as a very low hedge. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is very adaptable to poor and wet soils and drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Little pruning necessary: prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges; can be cut back heavily to rejuvenate an older plant.
Available in select potted sizes.
