Syringa x prestoniae ‘James MacFarlane’

Shrub: Lilac

Height: 8-10′ Width: 8′
Sun: Full Sun Zone: 2

Upright panicles of showy, single, rosy-pink flowers in late spring that are lightly fragrant. Very hardy, upright, large shrub with large, crinkly, green foliage that turns yellow in fall. Non-suckering: large specimen plant or used as a hedge. Good cut flower. Best flowering in full sun. Prefers moist, well drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Lilacs bloom on old wood: prune right after flowering is finished to allow next years flower buds to set and to promote strong new growth.

Available in select potted sizes.
