Small, whitish-pink flowers throughout the summer that turn into clusters of round, purple-pink, inedible berries that last into winter. Arching branches with blue-green foliage. Branches with berries can be used for indoor bouquets. Good specimen plant or used in the border. Tolerates a wide variety of soils, including poor soil and heavy clay. Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.
