Upright, arching branches are covered with showy, small white flowers in spring. Lobed, blue-green foliage turns orange-red in fall. Large, vase-shaped plant good for borders and in mass plantings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on old wood: prune as needed right after blooming to allow flower buds to set for next year.
