Rounded, compact shrub with colourful, toothed foliage all season long: copper-red tipped new golden foliage turns soft yellow in summer and orange-red in fall. Clusters of flat-topped, crimson-pink flowers in summer cover the plant. Best foliage colour in full sun. Low maintenance, dependable shrub that is great for the border or in mass plantings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Spent flowers can be sheared off to encourage continuous blooming. Blooms on new wood: to shape, prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.
Available in select potted sizes.
