Very fast-growing vine with attractive golden-yellow, three-lobed, serrated foliage on hairy stems. Greenish-yellow, fragrant, cone-shaped hops dangle from tendrils in late summer and are highly ornamental. Male plant is needed for fruit to set on a female plant. Tough and adaptable plant with twining, climbing vines that is good for screening. Requires a support structure such as a trellis or fence. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. In late winter/early spring, cut back close to ground level to encourage vigorous new growth.
Available in select potted sizes.
