Unusual, toothed and crinkled, green foliage emerges burgundy-red in spring, then turns coppery-bronze in fall. Showy clusters of flat-topped, light to dark pink flowers in summer on a compact shrub. Hardy, low maintenance plant that is great as a specimen or border plant or used in mass plantings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Spent flowers can be sheared off to encourage a new flush of blooms. Blooms on new wood: to shape, prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.
Available in select potted sizes.
