Very popular shrub covered with clusters of flat-topped, rosy-pink blooms throughout the summer. Upright, rounded form with small, toothed, blue-green foliage that emerges with red tips and turns orange-red to reddish-purple in fall. Great low maintenance plant that does well as a border/foundation plant, low hedge, or used in groupings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Spent flowers can be sheared off to encourage continuous blooming. Blooms on new wood: to shape, prune as needed in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.
Available in select potted sizes.
