Upright branches are covered with clusters of white flowers in spring. Lobed, dark green foliage turns yellow to orange in fall on a compact, spreading habit. Low maintenance, tidy plant that is good for borders and small spaces. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on old wood: prune as needed right after blooming to allow flower buds to set for next year.
