Salix integra ‘Hakuro-nishiki’

Shrub: Willow

Height: 4-5′ Width: 4-5′
Sun: Full to Part Sun Zone: 4

Showy variegated, narrow foliage that emerges pink and white and fades to white-green dappled in summer. Pink stems add winter interest. Also called ‘Dappled Willow’. Graceful, rounded shrub that does best in a sheltered area in zone 3. Prefers fertile and moist soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Foliage colour is most colourful on new foliage: can be sheared in the growing season to encourage a flush of new growth. For heavy pruning that is needed to rejuvenate old stems, cut back in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.

Available in select potted sizes.
