Coronation Triumph Potentilla
Potentilla fruticosa ‘Coronation Triumph’
Shrub: Potentilla

| Sun: Full Sun | Zone: 2 |
Bright yellow blooms cover this hardy plant from late spring until fall. One of the earliest and longest blooming Potentillas. Grey-green, small, finely textured foliage with a dense, spreading habit that is great when used in borders or for mass plantings and low hedges. Tough, adaptable plant that is drought and chinook tolerant and deer resistant. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions but should be kept moist until established: during drought will benefit from extra watering. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on new wood: annual pruning helps keep the shrub looking tidy and encourages new growth. Cut back one-third of the plant in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges or in fall when plant is dormant.
Available in select potted sizes.
