Double, gold to lemon-yellow blooms cover this small, hardy shrub from summer until fall. Green, fine-textured, small foliage on a compact, upright form. Great as a specimen plant, used in mass plantings or as a low hedge. Tough, adaptable plant that is drought and chinook tolerant and deer resistant. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions but should be kept moist until established: during drought will benefit from extra watering. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on new wood: little pruning needed but if desired prune in winter/early spring before new growth emerges or in fall when plant is dormant.
