Bobo Hydrangea
Hydrangea paniculata ‘ILVOBO’
Shrub: Hydrangea
| Height: 2-3′ | Width: 3-4′ |
| Sun: Part Sun/Shade | Zone: 3 |
Mounded, dwarf hydrangea shrub with large, conical, white blooms in summer that sometimes to pinkish in fall. Panicle blooms make a great fresh or dried cut flower. Strong, short stems with coarse, pointed green foliage. Excellent specimen shrub for small areas. A south/east-facing spot, sheltered from the hot afternoon sun is preferred: mulching the roots in winter protects in cold, exposed locations. Does best in moist, well-drained soil but is very adaptable. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on NEW wood: before new growth emerges in spring, cut plant back to one-third of its total height to encourage new growth and the coming seasons blooms.
Available in select potted sizes.
