Quick Fire Hydrangea
Hydrangea paniculata ‘Bulk’
Shrub: Hydrangea
| Height: 5-6′ | Width: 3-5′ |
| Sun: Part Sun/Shade | Zone: 3 |
Stunning, early-blooming, panicle hydrangea that blooms about a month before other hydranges. Large, lacecap blooms that start out white in June, turn pink in summer and then dark pink in fall: great for fresh or dried cut flowers. Upright, showy shrub with green foliage that takes on a gold to burgundy fall hue. A south/east-facing spot, sheltered from the hot afternoon sun is preferred: mulching the roots in winter protects in cold, exposed locations. Does best in fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on NEW wood: before new growth emerges in spring, cut plant back to one-third of its total height to encourage new growth and the coming seasons blooms.
Available in select potted sizes.
