Bright yellow, early spring blooms cover the plant from ground to top of the stems followed by dark green leaves. Very compact, upright form that needs little pruning. Plant in south-east location sheltered from winter winds; produces the most flowers in a sunny location. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as necessary right after flowering to let new flower buds set: old branches can be cut to ground level in late winter/early spring to rejuvenate.
