Turkestan Burning Bush
Euonymus nanus ‘Turkestanicus’
Shrub: Burning Bush
| Height: 3-4′ | Width: 3-4′ |
| Sun: Full to Part Sun | Zone: 3 |
Upright-sprawling, semi-evergreen shrub with finely textured, narrow, green foliage that turns a pinkish-green or red in fall. Small, red, star-shaped flowers mature into showy, pink capsules in summer. Great as a multi-season contrast plant: best fall colour in full sun. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is very adaptable once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as necessary while dormant: late winter/early spring is best, lightly shearing to shape or removing dead branches can be done anytime.
Available in select potted sizes.
