Rounded and upright, very hardy, native shrub. Colour contrasting, silvery-green foliage and fragrant, tiny yellow spring flowers followed by ornamental, silver berries over winter which attract birds. Suckering shrub that does well in mass plantings, reclamation sites or for stabilization purposes. Prefers moist, well-drained soil but is drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as necessary while dormant: late winter/early spring is best; dead branches and suckers can be removed anytime.
Available in select potted sizes.
