Siberian Variegated Dogwood
Cornus alba ‘Sibirica Variegata’
Shrub: Dogwood
| Height: 6-7′ | Width: 6-7′ |
| Sun: Full to Part Sun | Zone: 3 |
Upright, rounded, very hardy shrub with bright red stems that provide great colour contrast in winter. Variegated dark green, pointy foliage with a cream-white margin maturing to a pink hue in fall. Showy clusters of white blooms in late spring/early summer that turn into white-blue, ornamental berries in fall that attract birds in winter. Great accent plant or used in groupings. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune in late winter/early spring to encourage new growth, control size, and keep them dense: remove about 1/3 of oldest stems annually.
Available in select potted sizes.
