Dwarf, graceful, weeping form on this hardy, slow-growing shrub. Very fine, thread-like, green foliage that turns golden-yellow in fall. Showy specimen plant with dark-brown bark that peels with age. Birch require moist, rich, fertile, and well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as necessary in July only.
