Small, rounded, dense, specimen tree. Beautiful show of large panicles of creamy-white, fragrant flowers in early summer; needs full sun for best flowering. Dark green, heart shaped foliage turns yellow to light purple in fall with cherry brown bark. Non-suckering tree that does great in small areas, or as a feature tree. Prefers well-drained soil; drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Little pruning is needed; if required, prune right after blooming so next years flower buds can set, dead branches can be removed anytime.
Available in select potted and caliper sizes.
