Laurel Leaf Willow

Tree: Willow

Fast growing, rounded, hardy tree. Shiny, dark green, dense foliage is retained long into the season, turning yellow in fall. Interesting, furrowed bark. Excellent large-area shade tree or for shelterbelt use. Plant 10-12′ apart when planting as a windbreak. Avoid planting close to buildings because of its aggressive root system. Willows do great in wet or low-lying areas and are adaptable to many soil conditions, including poor soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune when needed in late winter/early spring, while dormant; suckers and dead branches can be removed anytime.
Available in select bareroot, potted and caliper sizes.
