Exotic-looking tree with finely textured, compound, green foliage that turns yellow in fall. Upright, open canopy with horizontally tiered branches. Specimen tree in sheltered areas. Requires well-protected, sunny area to thrive in Zone 3; drought and salt tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Prune as necessary while dormant; late winter/early spring is best; dead branches can be removed anytime.
