Very hardy, seedless selection. Upright, rounded crown with compact, green leaflets that mature to yellow in early fall. Great low-maintenance shade or windbreak tree. Plant 12-15′ apart when using as a windbreak. Alkaline and drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Requires little pruning, if necessary prune while dormant; late winter/early spring is best; dead branches can be removed anytime.
