Fruit: Cherry
| Height: 6-10′ | Width: 4-6′ |

Small, rounded, little to no suckering, hardy cherry tree or shrub. Clusters of lightly fragrant, showy, white, spring blossoms appear before glossy, dark-green foliage which matures to yellow in fall. Plentiful, large, 1.5″ size, sweet-tart, dark-red fruit with red flesh and a hard pit. High sugar content makes it excellent for eating fresh or processing (canning, freezing, cooking, juice, pies, etc.). Ripens early to mid August. Romance series. Excellent for small yards. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all-purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Not much pruning is necessary, if needed, prune in late winter while tree is dormant; suckers or dead, broken, and diseased branches, can be removed anytime.
Self-pollinating.
Available in select potted sizes.
