Blue Fox Willow

Salix brachycarpa ‘Blue Fox’

Shrub: Willow

Height: 3.5-4′ Width: 3.5-4′
Sun: Full to Part Sun Zone: 3

Attractive narrow, blue-grey foliage on smooth, purple branches that add winter interest. An upright and rounded, tidy shrub that is very hardy and responds well to pruning. Great as a specimen shrub or used as low hedge. Adaptable to most soil types and does well in moist conditions; drought tolerant once established. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Little pruning necessary: to shape as needed or to rejuvenate old stems every few years, prune back heavily in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges.

Available in select potted sizes.
