Mango Tango Potentilla

Potentilla fruticosa ‘Uman’

Shrub: Potentilla

Height: 2′ Width: 2′
Sun: Full to Part Sun Zone: 2

Orange and yellow bi-colour blooms from summer until frost: colour fades to golden in full sun and summer heat. Dense, compact, tidy shrub with small, fine-textured bright green foliage. Good as a specimen plant, low hedge or in mass plantings. Tough, adaptable plant that is drought and chinook tolerant and deer resistant. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions but should be kept moist until established: during drought will benefit from extra watering. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on new wood: annual pruning helps keep the shrub looking tidy and encourages new growth. Cut back one-third of the plant in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges or in fall when plant is dormant.

Available in select potted sizes.
