Showy, large, dark yellow blooms cover plant from summer until frost on this hardy plant. Coarse, dark green foliage with a tall, open, spreading growth habit. Good as a low hedge or used in mass plantings. Tough, adaptable plant that is drought and chinook tolerant and deer resistant. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil conditions but should be kept moist until established: during drought will benefit from extra watering. Fertilize in spring with a good compost or an all purpose fertilizer before new growth emerges. Blooms on new wood: annual pruning helps keep the shrub looking tidy and encourages new growth. Cut back one-third of the plant in late winter/early spring before new growth emerges or in fall when plant is dormant.
Available in select potted sizes.
